It's been a while

Jordan sighed and ashed her ciggerette on the ground. She was sitting at the edge of the lake, knees tucked up to her chest and smoking-staring into the black water. She was wearing a long blue sweater, black jeans and a white tshirt that shouldn't have been paired with her black bra but she never cared if people could she her underear. She felt, confused. For the first time ever she wished she was close enough with someone to talk to them about her guy delima. But girls never wanted to get too close to her, and blokes....well if they weren't looking for a good time they never really understood her. She felt so very alone.

Alex found that lately, he'd been making a lot of trips to the lake not too at away from the castle. As the weather began to slowly grow warmer, his need to be outside in the fresh air steadily grew. For once he was glad to be out of his school robes, and instead he was wearing some dark washed jeans, paired with a navy blue button down that showed off the toned spots in the upper half of his body. His arms swung freely by his sides, enjoying the warm air around him as he closed the distance between himself and the lake.

Glancing around to see if anyone else had the same idea as himself, the faint smell of ciggarette smoke reached his nostrils. He inhaled lightly, his sea green eyes slowly roaming around for the source. That was when he notice the figure sitting nearby, next to the edge of the lake. Part of him told him to mine his own business and look the other way, but something about the seated person was so familiar to him..

When she turned her head slightly, he saw her face, and it immediately clicked. Jordan was her name, if he wasn't mistaken. He never forgot a name though, and after a moment he decided to wander over. It had been a while since he'd last spoken to her, and she looked rather well.. a bit upset. Sliding his large hands into his jean pockets he came to a stop near her, his eyes looking down. "Hey, stranger." He said with a slight half smirk. "You look like you need someone to talk to."

Jordan smiled lightly at Alex, " Hey, it's been a while." She poked her toe at the water's edge. " I guess, sometimes I just get lost in my thoughts." She pulled a loose thread from her sweater and sighed. She then took a good look at Alex, he looked fit. She had forgotton about his black locks and broad sholders. She tried to remember if he had a girlfriend, he was one of the only boys she had talked to this year that she hadn't hooked up with and strangely she wanted to keep it that way.

" So how are you?"
